Yeah, fuck you, NBC. Anything possibly live on the Opening Ceremonies is being blocked by NBC. I've tried. Instead I'm supposed to sit around for three hours like a good little mindless consumer and wait for NBC to dole it out in their own sweet time.

I can't remember but didn't they pull the same bullshit when the Olympics were in LA?

And yah, I could TiVo them but I'm just not that interested.

I don't remember what they did back then. I do remember my dad's company had to go on a work schedule - they did that with a lot of companies in the LA area to manage the traffic. It actually worked.
