lol well I knew tea snobs would have heard of it, but I've yet to find a normal person who has.
I shall email my mother. She is my last hope - she's a fairly normal person but might know this sort of thing.

London is fucked up enough to be another country. Shops stay open after 6pm there!
Also I do not doubt that tea snobs have heard of it and know exactly what it is, but NOT NORMAL PEOPLE.

I KNOW ABOUT TEA. IT COMES IN BAGS. YOU ADD BOILING WATER, AND THEN MILK AND SUGAR. THAT IS ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT TEA.
APART FROM THE FACT THAT SOME PEOPLE DRINK FRUIT AND HERB TEA BUT THEY ARE WEIRD.

I've never had milk in tea. Seems...odd. Honey is good though.
And my "tea" of choice is rooibos, so...

I have what people call 'builders' tea', which is milk and two sugars and not something posh like Earl Grey.
Is rooibos a brand? Or another made up word like orange pekoe?

I actually don't like Earl Grey. Bleh.
But rooibos is an herbal tea. Redbush or red tea. It has sort of a grassy flavor and I much prefer it over real tea.

That is adorable! We would have morning tea but it was always herbal. I think my parents decided they didn't want to caffeinate their hyper 4-year-old, I have no idea why.

Rooibus is South African and may possibly be an Afrikaans word.
