I need the kind of help that doesn't come in a bottle...

I now have one DW icon again. ONE. Shut up.

(I believe the two words you're looking for are "fucking nutjob.")

ETA: Stay tuned for next year when I will probably dump it again. And then add it back. And dump it...

ETA2: Okay, two icons. TWO. That's it.

Nucking Futjob, you are.

:)

Are you still going to make your music video?

HA!

Are you still going to make your music video?

Oh right. Did I mention that? I have a couple I had started and didn't finish. As well as about 10 fics I never did anything with since I wanted to see S2 play out first since I couldn't quite figure out where the hell they were going with it. And now I know...

[identity profile] calyx.livejournal.com 2006-07-12 12:17 am (UTC)(link)
Really, when we can call you a fucking nutjob is when you put your T/R background back up.

[identity profile] calyx.livejournal.com 2006-07-12 12:23 am (UTC)(link)
You know you want too.

I have a couple I had started and didn't finish.

Yeah, I have about 5 of those.

You know you want too.

I need more therapy first.

Yeah, I have about 5 of those.

Wow.

I've been more inspired by DW then I have any other show since Stargate. But it takes a really good song, one that I can see every scene in my head, to make me finish it.

That's really cool. :)

Yeah, tell me about it.

One problem I've found with DW is that they stand around and talk A LOT. Where SG-1 you could get more motion/action.

True. Very true. Although with SG-1, I found that there were an over abundance of pedeconferences. Sam more than anyone liked to walk and talk.

Another thing, is the shorter season. When you only have 13 episodes with Nine, it makes it REALLY hard to vary the scenes you use.

Totally! Exposition and scene transition all rolled into one. :D

Yeah, exactly. And then you see the same scenes in every other Nine vid... Ah well. Nothing you can do about that.

You are so funny.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2006-07-12 12:08 am (UTC)(link)
PTSD!!

Also, shut up or I'll tell Elis you're a Doctor/Rose shipper...

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2006-07-12 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh Elis! Dia was squeeing earlier today and yes, she actually used the word squee..."

*waits for the disowning*

lalalalalalala

I can't hear you......

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2006-07-12 04:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, just to warn you. You'll probably WTF at the episode called Love & Monsters. It was...different. The Doctor and Rose were in it for about a total of five minutes. Probably the closest Doctor Who will ever come to a clips show. It was okay for what it was, but since they have such a short season anyway, I'd have *much* rather had a real episode.

::grabs a big bowl of popcorn::

At least you are providing a floorshow while we wait for Christmas. :P

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2006-07-12 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think I can keep this up until Christmas. I will implode or something. Ooooh! I could delete my journal a few times!

[identity profile] splash-the-cat.livejournal.com 2006-07-12 02:05 am (UTC)(link)
Next year?

:)

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2006-07-12 02:11 am (UTC)(link)
Next year, next week, two hours... All the same, really.

[identity profile] beck-liz.livejournal.com 2006-07-12 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
You are so silly. Hey, do you think you'll manage Torchwood, or is that out, too? I mean, Jack'll be there. :-)

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2006-07-12 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
Torchwood should be fine. Plus I *really* gotta see how Jack manages to wind up in the 21st century.

Michelle, do please look at this icon that I am using. I got Stephanie to make it for me and you, mostly because I thought it was cute and to cheer you up--so please accept it as my gift to you, with credit to [livejournal.com profile] martoufmarty.

And if it hasn't already been done yet, and if it has, please tell me, but I am thinking of starting an AU comm for Ten/Rose fics, icons, poetry, plays, whatever, that would be open to all posters (major rules: have fiction betaed, and put everything behind an LJ-cut), a comn where we deny the end of "Doomsday" and everyone creates their own AU adventures of Ten/Rose, and I was going to ask you to come in and help me mod it, if you like.

Kim

*hugs*

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2006-07-12 01:38 pm (UTC)(link)
EEEEEEE!! Thank you!! It's so cute! *pets*

And while it is tempting and lovely of you to offer, I really need to manage another community like I need a hole in the head. :)

(And while I have participated in virtual seasons before that erase episodes, usually the canon whore gets to me eventually. *sigh* *stabs brain*)

[identity profile] acciochocolate.livejournal.com 2006-07-12 07:09 am (UTC)(link)
Well, if Rowling kills off Harry in the last book, I doubt I will ever read them again, knowing what's going to happen, so no, I don't blame you for feeling this way. I left the HP fandom pretty much last year with all the wanking of the shippers, but what really got me was the end of HBP. I'm still in shock about that. :( I dumped all my Snape icons, for a long time. I stopped reading the book at a certain point, literally threw it down on the bed and walked off. It wsn't until the next day that I managed to finish it, and then only to find online that a storm had broken over the shipping! It was all pretty much wtf!

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2006-07-12 01:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh right! I heard something about that! That supposedly a main character(s) will die in the last book! Oy, that'd be traumatic. Especially for people who grew up with these characters.
