Just so we're clear - no, I'm not writing SG-1: The Musical. It was a very bad idea that the muse taunted me with. (Well, who knows - maybe one of these nights after a little too much wine.) But if you really had your heart set on some sort of singing, or perhaps a crossover, fret not. The next chapter of the Dark & Stormy fics will have both singing and a crossover. And a special guest star. And a little something in the locker room. ;)

You'll just have to wait until josephides gets back from vacation.

Okay, so since I was such a horrible tease about the whole musical thing, here are a couple of new excerpts from The Cheese. There were parts I *really* wanted to give you, but that would have given away too much. You'll just have to wait.

Sam tuned out the loud sucking sound coming from the back table as she furrowed her brow. Dammit! What in the world could her underwear possibly have to do with a mission?!

"Colonel O'Neill took them all off to watch him shoot his weapon."

"It was a very impressive weapon," Alien Dude said seriously, nodding. "I have never seen a weapon like it. It was very... long."
