Weinercon ^{+ a Yak} 2004 (TM) is now officially over and I have the t-shirt to prove I was there. What happened during those four days, you ask? Well, after discovering the DVD player was a lesbian, we watched The Librarian. For four days straight. Because that's how long the movie was. Seasons actually changed during that movie. nandamai disappeared sometime during the jungle scene in hour forty-three wherein Noah Wyle and a 50-year-old woman climbed a tree to Willy Wonka music. I think nanda may have been done in by the physics-defying Excalibur (the sword, not the Vegas hotel) but the rest of us didn't care because by that time it was every wienerdog or yak for herself. For you see, diavestra had the remote and goddammit we were *going* to see Bob Newhart's bare chest.

Sometimes, when the lights are dim, I can still see the chest.
