Did not go to The Getty but instead the Queen Mary - since it's Mother's Day weekend, mom got to decide, and she wanted to see ghosts. Unfortunately we missed their ghost...thingie. Show. Not sure what it is, but strobe lights, fog and water effects are involved, as there were warning signs, along with a "you may get wet." Apparently ghosts have gone high-tech in the 21st century. And perhaps have constructed a flume ride. **
Anyway, we wandered around on our own and I took pictures that I will be inspecting for ghosts when I get home. (Forgot my USB cord.) The engine room - that was my favorite. We got sorta lost down there and there was one point where I swore I heard men's voices from below me, but when I hung over the railing, there were just pipes. Oooooh. *wavy fingers* I took a picture which I'm sure will reveal...pipes.
** ETA: I'm now totally thinking of Ghostbusters - "Symmetrical book stacking. Just like the Philadelphia mass turbulence of 1947." "You're right, no human being would stack books like this."
