• AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I just got a motion-detecting DUCK for my birthday from poohmusings!!!!!! Right now I have it set up on the file cabinet to ambush my supervisor when she comes in. ETA: Scared supervisor. EXCELLENT.
  
  
• I noticed on the Alton Brown turkey directions that it says to brine the turkey for 6 hours. (I also happened to see another brine recipe in a magazine the other day that called for 24 - 36 hours. THAT seems excessive and I'd think you'd wind up with a really salty turkey. Unless it was a really weak brine.)
