Back from the ENT, and he's pretty sure I have Vestibular Neuronitis. It's a virus that attacks the vestibular nerve - the one responsible for sending balance impulses to the brain. Good news is that I *should* make a full recovery with no recurrences. Bad news is that since it's a virus, no medication will speed up the healing process. Only time. But back on the good news - once I kick it I shouldn't ever get it again since my body will have built up immunities.

So good news! Still twiddling my thumbs though. :D
