Cranky today. It's going to be a long week and I'm already sore. *grumps*

Tell me something that's bugging you about fandom (any fandom) right now. It's therapeutic. I'll start.

In reading a ton of fics, I've been running across some that don't have an ending. (Not talking about WIPs.) Oh, they say they're complete, but they're really not. They just stopped writing. There's a difference. (A time or two I've actually seen a note saying they were planning on a sequel and it BUGS that something that probably should be part of the same fic is considered a "sequel.")

This has probably always been around as long as fanfic has been around, but for some reason I'm noticing it a lot more now.

Also, what's up with Sherlock authors being proud of the fact that they post unbetaed fic? When did not using a beta become cool? I'M SO OLD AND CRANKY.
