Billie Piper to leave Doctor Who
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!
*sobs*
But...*CRIES* A 27-episode ship is not long enough. :( Poor, poor Doctor is going to be heartbroken. :( Hell, I'm heartbroken.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!
I'm going to curl up in a sock drawer and sleep for days.
ETA: I'll probably give post-Rose eps a shot, but honestly the Doctor and Rose's complex relationship from the very first episode is what really interested me in this show and kept me with the show. Apart from that you're just looking at some cheesy monsters and plot holes.

Oh, MerV.
This is what it's like to be a Who Fan.

If it makes you feel any better, I was *very* upset when Teagan left.
Of course, I was like TWELVE at the time. ;-)

Just great.
I *was* totally spoiler free.
If Rose dies it'll destroy Tenth. If she leaves him it'll destroy him. If he loses her in any way, shape or form it'll destroy him.
Why does she have to leave? *cries*

I saw it in a number of different places this morning. *sad*

Yeah, I just don't know how they're going to handle it. He's just *so* in love with her and you're right. Part of him will die. WAH.
Why does she have to leave? *cries*
Darn those actors!!

I watch half of an episode, love the dynamic that I saw between Dr/Rose. And she up and leaves.
It's fate.
And also, I am very sorry for you, cause it really does suck when stuff like this happens.

OMG! You totally said it! YOUR FAULT!

It's kinda like if they had decided to kill off Sam in SG-1 in S5 after they had built up all this ship in S4. *cries*

A 28-episode ship is not long enough.
Think of it this way - at least they won't have a chance to fuck it all up.
Plus, you get to watch all the skeery shipper heads go MEOW-BOOM all over lj communities everywhere! The emo will run like bitter, bitter wine! THINK OF THE LETTER-WRITING CAMPAIGNS IT WILL SPAWN!

Dude. I'm not even going over to the big D/R community. It's full of people who hate Rose in the first place and they're probably dancing a jig.

Looks like it's time for you to come back to SG-1.

Well, at least neither of them is DEAD. However, it's been nine years and they still haven't kissed...

Damn their getting me to care about her ways!
(hmm, apparently still in the anger stage)

{{{{ hugs }}}} But see, it's ALWAYS ultimately about the relationship with the companion(s). It's always different, but it's always complex. Really and truly.
Whether it will hold you when it's someone else...that I can't answer. But as someone for whom the Doctor's way of relating to people has been a fact since I was SEVEN? I can barely even wrap my mind around the concept of it as an "end" of anything...

But...wah! :(
*sniff*

I really will try and hopefully won't fall into the "you're not Rose so you SUCK" trap. But as a 2005 newbie, it's been this new show for me that's been all about these two characters and one is leaving. Sadness.
