My latest obsession.

I have successfully hooked a friend and her hubby on Lost by forcing them to watch the first couple of episodes last night.

*big bad giraffeabear stomps through forest*

Not-into-sci-fi-friend: So...is this sci-fi?

Me: Um...no. Not really. *cough* It's more of a character drama.

Friend: Oh, okay.

Me: Hey look - that guy was a hobbit.

Friend: Oh right. Is he a twin of that guy who played that other hobbit?

Me: [trying not to laugh] Yes.

I'm quite pleased with myself for hooking them. After the first 15 minutes they were commenting that they were already interested. After the two pilots and the next episode, they were talking about doing a lot of TV watching to catch up before season 2 starts next week. Bwah.
