• I, and my friends, are getting old. Friday night: 20s - go hang out at a coffee shop to listen to a band. 30s - down a bottle of wine, decide not to listen to the band at the coffee shop, but instead storm Bed Bath & Beyond, followed by a swing through the produce market. I now own a new hand mixer and have cherries and tomatoes.
  
  
• Haven't responded to comments in my thinky thoughts DW post, as I am unable to have thinky thoughts at the moment. And I'm not exactly sure when the brain will come back. *pokes it*
  
  
• Must get back to classic Who. Oh, huh. Didn't realize that Terror of the Autons was the first Master episode. I've seen that already. Guess I didn't clue in to the fact that it was his first episode when I saw it.
  
  
• *licks aj* Silly A.j., Rose is for kids! Or so I'm told. Oh, wait... Not sure I'm supposed to talk about her in public. :-X
  
  
• I need diet Coke. Which involves going to the store when I feel like I need a nap.

I just have not been able to kick my brain into high gear today. I now have diet Coke, but that's about all I've accomplished. *thinks about having some cherries and starting Carnivale*

Not sure I'm *quite* ready to read fic, but...rec stuff to me for Doctor Who. And go ahead and rec fic that doesn't exactly fit what I'm looking for, since other people who run around here might be interested. I don't mind. Fic pimping is fun!

• Watched the first four episodes of Carnivale. Man, I like watching this show. Depression Era mysticism (which I'm a bit of a sucker for, even when it involves George Clooney), outright good vs. evil with the person I'm assuming is "evil" (I don't actually know, come to think of it) wants to be good, and the person who's "good" doesn't want anything to do with it at all, and just general strangeness. I even love the opening credits. You can't see them too well on youtube, but...
