After commenting with wiliqueen and discussion with elismor (and pretending I'm not actually talking by nandamai), I *really* want the TARDIS to have a Duck Room. And pretty much the TARDIS can and does whatever the hell she wants. And so if she wants a room full of ducks, you'll get a room full of ducks. No, there's no actual *reason* for a room full of ducks, but there's no *reason* for the TARDIS to have a room full of dead leaves, other than atmosphere. Ducks? Atmosphere.
