Forgot to mention - last night on my way home from work I ran across a Veronica Mars production camp. My way home from work goes through back roads in one of the richest parts of San Diego (which makes sense for the VM locations), and I started seeing arrows with "V. Mars" on them as I made my way. (Heh. Back in film school we would go chase down production signs when we saw them. Now it's like, "eh.") In the middle of a field, sure enough - circles of trailers and SUVs. Hadn't seen them in the morning, so they must have been setting up for some night shots.

And so I promptly had a *very* vivid dream last night where Veronica Mars was telling Jack from Lost that he was a whiny asshole.

OMG, I need to go shoe shopping. GO. GO NOW.

Okay, looks like the word "frak" will be sticking around on Veronica Mars. Cracks me up that they're not only using it, but that they even mentioned in the first episode that Battlestar Galactica was where it came from. :D

Spoilery, but not really. It's just a *word*: How much would it amuse me if this show continued to use "frak" from now on? HEE!!

Veronica Mars update: I think I may have started monologging in my head. Probably not good.

Seriously, it's *so* not hard to keep watching ep after ep when you have a 5 DVD changer and can skip over the credits straight to the next ep. I did see daylight today aside from getting the DVDs early this morning. Got groceries and did a few other errands around noon. So not a total shut-in.

So far I'm liking S2. Not really seeing much of a difference from S1 in quality/writing. Just a different over-arching plot.

Well, finished Veronica Mars S1 and it was *definitely* worth the $18 they're selling the box set at nowadays. I'm not ready to go out and write fic or obsess to the point of madness about the show, but I was very entertained. So much so, I went out and bought S2 this morning. And it takes a lot for me to actually marathon a show without getting bored and/or feel the need to go do something else.
