May. 1st, 2009 09:06 am- I've been a bad LJ-er lately. Energy/stamina is an issue right now, and so I've sort of gone into lurk mode. I do kinda miss all the LJ discussions (mainly about D/R, of course), but even the thought makes me tired at the moment.
- I've been walking in the neighborhood here to build up my strength, and I'm gobsmacked at the amount of houses I see with sprinklers going full blast during the day with water running into the street. Sometimes running down the block. So Cal is basically a desert with everything irrigated. We're in a water crisis, but yet people don't seem to care. God save us from the entitled or oblivious.
